Your responsibilities:

Deliver the module Geographic Information Systems and Spatial Data Applications:
  • 1 group, M.Eng. Renewable Energy, Water & Waste Technology, 50 contact hours
  • Spatial Data, projections, registration, Spatial Analysis, modelling, overlay
  • Geostatistics, address- und reverse geocoding, MCDA, Cartography, Spatial ETL, Data Mining
  • OGC-Standards, Hyperlinks, georeferencing, web mapping, adding time
  • Software ArcGIS, ArcMap, QGIS-
  • In-person teaching in English in a block format

Your profile:

  • Degree in Geoinformatics, Environmental Studies, Geography, Computer Science or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Strong command of English
  • Teaching experience or practical experience in GIS (ArcGIS / QGIS) and spatial analysis
  • Willingness to teach exclusively in person
  • Valid work permit (no visa sponsorship)
  • Ability to independently prepare, deliver and assess the module
