External Lecturer on a fee basis (m/f/d) - Entrepreneurship

We are seeking an external lecturer on a fee basis f/m/d for our courses in the study program of Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (ADSAI) at our School of Arts, Information and Media in München. The teaching assignment comprises 34 contact hours from December 07th, 2026 until February 20th, 2027.

Teach the module Entrepreneurship (m_ADSA_027, 6 ECTS, 34 contact hours, in English) in Block 4 of semester 3, M.Sc. ADSAI
Cover lean startup, business model and value proposition canvas, monetising AI products, data-driven market research
Teach funding rounds, financial modelling, scaling and hiring, AI ethics, go-to-market, pitch decks; use AI startup case studies
Run the module as group and project work: coach student teams who develop their own AI business idea
Set and grade the assessment: business plan (70 %) and pitch presentation (30 %)
Coordinate dates and content with the programme; use E-Campus and Microsoft Teams

Requirements:

Own founding experience, or several years as startup consultant, accelerator coach or venture investor
Good understanding of data- and AI-based products and business models
Teaching or coaching experience (university, business school or accelerator)
Experienced in judging business plans, financial models and investor pitches
Master's degree or equivalent; doctorate welcome but not required
Fluent English (C1 or higher); German not required
