To strengthen our team, we are looking for a full-time "Professor for Applied Mathematics and Statistics (f/m/d)"  in full-time and within the framework of a permanent employment contract as of April 1, 2024.

Your duties:

• Professur Applied Mathematics and StatisticsTeaching in English and German in the fields of Applied Mathematics and Statistics in Bachelor's and Master's programmes
  
• Relevant research in the field
  
• Publication and conference activities
  
• Participation in the further development of the BST study programmes
  
• Participation in academic self-administration

Your profile:

• Many years of experience in teaching and research in Applied Mathematics and Statistics
  
• Relevant research activities with publications in international journals and presentations at conferences
  
• International co-operation with universities and scientific institutions
  
• Experience in academic self-administration at universities
  
• Very good English
  
• Fulfilment of the requirements of §100 of the Berlin Higher Education Act (BerlHG) for professors
