To strengthen our team, we are looking for a full-time "Manager (m/f/d) International Sales East & Southeast Asia" from 1. March and as part of a fixed-term employment contract for an initial period of a maternity leave of at least one year.

Our focus lies on Indonesia and Vietnam so we highly appreciate applicatans who are fluent in one of these languages.

Your duties:

  • Target Achievement: Take charge of reaching the student recruitment targets for the East & Southeast Asian market, Indonesia and Vietnam
  • Market Development Strategy and Execution: Together with the Director of International Marketing & Sales, develop and execute a comprehensive student enrollment strategy for the region, aligning with the university’s volume and diversity goals.
  • Partnership development: Identify, establish and maintain strategic partnerships with educational agencies, institutions and relevant stakeholders across the respective market.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a team of in-market managers, providing guidance and support to ensure they effectively engage with the relevant stakeholders in their region
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, demand for specific programmes, and competitor offerings within the China & SE Asian region.
  • Reporting and Performance Metrics: Track and report on enrollment progress, conversion rates, and the effectiveness of various recruitment channels. Regularly provide data-driven insights to the director of International Marketing & Sales for decision-making and refinement of enrollment strategies.

Your profile:

  • Experience in international sales, ideally for higher education, particularly in roles related to enrollment management, multi-channel student recruitment and the Chinese and/or SE Asian education market. Good understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the higher education sector.
  • Proven track record of success in sales or market development roles, preferably in a multicultural, international context.
  • Ability to set and achieve enrollment targets, analyse and act on data, and identify opportunities for growth
  • Experience in establishing and managing strategic partnerships with education agencies and institutions, or relevant stakeholders would be a plus
  • Fluent in English and Chinese or another language in SE Asia would be a plus.
