For the Department of Management at EBS Business School we are seeking a Ph. D. candidate (f/m/d) part time (70 %) to join the team of the Professorship of Leadership (Professor Dr. Myriam Bechtoldt). The appointment is initially for 2 years and can be extended for another 2 years conditional upon a positive mid-term review.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Developing new research projects in the area of Leadership and Organizational Behavior
  • Writing scientific and high-level practice-oriented publications
  • Supporting applied research projects and applying for research funding
  • Offering pedagogical and tutorial support for lectures and seminars
  • Supervising Bachelor/Master theses

Your Profile:

  • A degree (Master or Diploma, 270-300 ECTS credits) in Psychology, Management  or a related discipline
  • A strong interest in research topics such as psychological factors in adapting to climate change, gender/minority equality at work, emotional intelligence in work-related social interactions
  • Excellent methodological/statistical skills, including experience with software packages such as R, Mplus, SPSS, or STATA and online assessment tools such as Qualtrics
  • Fluent  written and spoken English
  • An ability to work as an independent researcher
