Aufgabe:
- Collaborate on research projects and contribute to the writing of scientific papers
- Assist in the planning and delivery of courses in econometrics, statistics, and related quantitative fields
- Support the supervision of Bachelor’s and Master’s theses
- Engage with students and participate in student-led initiatives
- Contribute to departmental activities such as seminars, workshops, and administrative tasks
Profil:
- A master’s degree in econometrics or statistics is required; candidates with degrees in data science, mathematics, economics, or related quantitative fields will also be considered if their studies have a strong focus on econometrics or statistics.
- Strong interest in conducting both theoretical and empirical research in econometrics and statistics
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Proactive, adaptable team player with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in programming, particularly in MATLAB and Python; experience with R is a plus
