Your responsibilities:

  • Holding competence-orientied courses in the English-language study programs on Bachelor and Master's degree level at our campus in Berlin
  • Instructing the students in acquiring the intended competencies, conveying the necessary course content using didactically suitable methods and grading the examination results
  • Supervising research, bachelor and master thesis projects including student mentoring
  • Partner management and publication of selected work and research results in scientific journals as well as presentation on national and international conferences
  • Taking responsibility for specific modules ranging from the selection and guidance of lecturers to the accreditation processes
  • Willingness to take up further academic functions, i.e. regional Head of Study Programme, and to participate in the self-administration of the school or university

Your profile:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Modelling, Informatics or in a related field of research at least with a grade "good"
  • At least five years of unique professional experience in the area of Computational Science, Modelling or related fields, of which three years must have been conducted outside university
  • Relevant publications and conference contributions or equivalent activities in the field
  • Teaching experience at a university
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Willingness to actively develop and accompany learning processes according to the CORE principle, as well as an independent and responsible style of working
  • Innovative strength and commitment to support our dynamic university
