Your responsibilities:

  • Teaching in English language in the field of Supply Chain Management and related areas  
  • Research in the field of Supply Chain Management, (International) Business Administration or a related field
  • Acquisition of third party research funding
  • Active participation in faculty and university administration to develop the BA International Business Administration study programme further
  • Networking with local businesses, knowledge exchange activities, including projects, firm visit and other means of collaboration.
  • Student experience and didactics related concepts and developments.

Your profile:

  • PhD or equivalent degree in the area of Supply Chain Management
  • Proven track record of university level teaching ability
  • Particular proficiency in scientific work, usually demonstrated by the quality of the doctorate
  • A strong track record in the application or development of academic findings and methods, gained during a minimum of five years of professional employment in a relevant field – at least three years of these five years must have been outside of a university environment
  • Excellent English language skills, Intermediate (B2) German language skills are required
  • Must relocate to/live in Hamburg or its greater area (no commuting possible)
