We are currently looking for freelance lecturers f/m/d for the subject of Data Privacy and Ethics for the current summer semester at our Campus in Hamburg. Starting from 21.07.2025 to 08.08.2025 the courses for the subject Data Privacy and Ethics will be in an extend of 40 contact hours (45 min blocks).

Your responsibilities:

  • Lectures on "Data Privacy and Ethics" in the English language
  • Execution of exams according to the Module handbook
  • Supporting our international group of students
  • Lectures will be delivered in person at SRH Capus Hamburg

Your profile:

  • Personality, with a university degree in Data Management, Law related field and practical experience in the Data Governance, GDPR, AI Ethics areas.
    • Foundations of Ethics in Technology: Key ethical concepts including business, institutional, and professional ethics for computer scientists.
    • Ethics in Global and Digital Contexts: Managing ethical responsibilities in an interconnected world, addressing conflicts of interest, and protecting individual rights.
    • International Data Law and Jurisdiction: Principles of international data processing, jurisdictional challenges, and legal requirements for data handling and approval.
    • Big Data Governance and Contracts: Legal aspects of big data inquiries, contracts for data use, and organizational responsibilities.
    • German and EU Privacy Regulations: Overview of national laws such as BDSG, TMG, TKG, and cross-border data transfer compliance.
    • Privacy Protection and Enforcement: Techniques and practices for data anonymization, pseudonymization, risk mitigation, and preventing data misuse.
  • Willingness to actively shape learning processes according to the CORE principle
  • Very good English language skills,
  • Interest in interdisciplinary and team-oriented working methods
