We are currently looking for freelance lecturers f/m/d for the subject of Data Visualization for the current summer semester at our Campus in Hamburg. Starting from 16.06.2025 to 18.07.2025 the courses for the subject Data Visualzation will be in an extend of 60 contact hours (45 min blocks).

Your profile:

Personality, with a university degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science related background and practical experience in
- User-Centered Design Techniques: Creating user personas, storyboarding, paper prototyping, and aligning visualizations to target audiences.
- Exploratory Data Analysis & Visualization Selection: Assessing data quality, conducting EDA, and choosing appropriate visualization techniques.
- Infographics and Dashboard Design: Building interactive dashboards and infographics using best practices for communication and engagement.
- Hands-On Visualization Tools: Using Tableau (Desktop, Public, Prep) for time series, maps, filters, dual-axis charts, LOD calculations, and advanced dashboards.
- Power BI for Business Intelligence: Data modeling, DAX calculations, AI
Willingness to actively shape learning processes according to the CORE principle
Very good English language skills,
Interest in interdisciplinary and team-oriented working methods
