Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver a foundational Master-level course in Global Supply Chain Management 4.0, introducing core concepts, terminology, and structures of global supply chains
  • Teach fundamental supply chain principles, including supply chain strategy, planning, design, execution, and performance measurement, with clear links to business strategy
  • Introduce students to essential frameworks and methods such as the SCOR model, Make-or-Buy decisions, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Lean, TQM, and Just-in-Time (JIT)
  • Provide an introductory understanding of digitalization and Industry 4.0 technologies in supply chains (e.g. ERP systems, IoT, Blockchain, AI) at a conceptual and applied level
  • Guide and assess student project reports and learning diaries, supporting students in developing structured analytical thinking and academic reflection skills

Your profile:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Solid understanding of foundational supply chain management concepts and their application in global business contexts
  • Ability to explain complex supply chain concepts clearly to students with limited prior background in supply chain management
  • Experience in teaching, and, or industry experience in supply chain management is preferred
  • Very good command of English (spoken and written) and strong didactical and communication skills
